Door Adjusting. Need Help Bad!

I have been rebuilding a 78 4x4 F150 and recently I had to put a door on the right side. I can not seem to get the door to go up or down. It needs to go up about 1/2 to an inch because the latch is about 1/2 to an inch below to striker. Please help if you can.

Well if the body lines are lined up with the body lines on the cab....just adjust the striker up.
Loosen it off and it adjustable up/down and in out.

Adjust the hinge mount bolts either on the door or fender side as required. Unless your cab or door has been seriously jacked with in an accident they WILL line up. Align the body lines first, then get the gap right all around, then go for the striker bolt. Make sure you have a good striker bolt with the plastic sleeve in good shape on it.
