So I was troubleshooting my 4 wheel drive solenoid (solenoid is junk I believe), and I started looking at the vacuum lines to the heater / ac controller. The black one apears to be the vacuum feed (feeds off same line that goes to the 4 wheel solenoid swithch) but there is a grey one in the same area tied together, maybe a return line?? (going to the heater /ac control area), and it was laying on top of the motor, and not hooked up to anything..
Well the grey one wasn't plugged into anything, where does this go??
Could someone take a look and post back here, I'm thinking it should go to the vacuum canister, but can't find a port or fitting that it should slide onto.
Thanks Bismic. I went and looked again, and that seemed to be the right amount of reach on the line. Sure enough it wasn't on there. What is it there for anyhow, stop the coolant from entering heater core until you have it warmed up??
bismic the one on my truck is open even when its not on heat the air is not as hot but not as cool as it should be. I just did egr, studs could I have hooked something up wrong some place else??
