292 oil pump
Need to replace my Y's oil pump and saw two different types for sale on line. Whats the difference and can I use them both?
1st was a gear to gear drive type
2nd was a rotor type.
motor is a 292 in a 64 f100 w/ 3 spd

Try going in the 292 section here there are some great people there who know alot about the Yblock. Or y-blocksforever forum another great place. I don't have enough experience with the yblock myself to make the call.
