Oil Change Intervals

Just read the tech folder for Oil change intervals. Am I reading this right,some of you guys are getting ~8000 miles to an oil change?? Coming from a 6.0 standpoint that would save a TON of money just in oil changes over the life of the truck. I suppose its to early to see some, if any long term effects. I realize this is a totally different motor, but 8000 seems like alot.

my first oil change notification came at 6923 miles. I plan on following the trucks advice unless other members on here sart getting some bad analysis information back.
