that is what I'd do. Also can you monitor your fuel rail pressure? At idle mine is around 5K psi, maybe 10-15K running empty at 50-60 mph.

should throw a code...and I am certainly no expert...by a long shot. But rough running and more regens leads me to beleive an overfueling condition or a sensor issue.

Just a sensor issue would mean no rough running though.

Just my thoughs.

Sounds like you lost an injector or two. Or injector o ring and its letting fuel into the crank case. Does the oil smell like it has fuel in it?

Do make sure it isn't too full as you don't want a runaway. Drain some off it you have too to get it home.

I have seen trucks that have lost an injector but did not throw a code. Check your oil and make sure it is not over full if it is drain some.

well if it turns out to be the sensors than that is an easy fix. If the injectors than glad that is covered.

Yes I got word around 5pm last night. They are saying the problem is a broken rocker arm. He proceeded to tell me about how poorly made they are and how he see them break more than they should.

interesting. I have heard of a few but didn't know it was that widespread. Hopefully you will be up and running by Monday.

We at least had the right idea of about where the problems might lie. I wonder though about fuel pressure readings.

He is what I wonder. If you had been able to monitor your fuel pressure what would it have told you in this case? Or would it at all?

Also I take it that it still did not have a code when you turned it in for repair?

Apparently It's a easy fix for them. And it should be covered under the extended warranty. They told me They are constantly Getting issues like this Because there is A little plastic piece in there that is not Designed well and tends to break often
