08 console in OBS
I know ive saw someone had put an 08 console on a obs....just cant remember who. If you ready this can you post a pic and a little write up on what had to be changed? I have a 5 speed and i want more storage and a better arm rest. I just didnt know if it ended up being high enough to rest your arm on. Thanks

yeah that was me a couple yrs ago....I have a write up but all the pictures were deleted on my photobucket.....I will see if I can dig them up and post them again...it was pretty easy...only took a couple hrs IIRC

lol im working on that now, they's 500!!! on ebay. Or make offer lol. id only spend 150-200 for one.

I want to do that but I am afraid that I will screw something up in the wiring and fry my transmission.
When I did my 08 console, I did the short console...like this (these aren't my pics...my truck is an auto)

I do know that these consoles (the pics I posted and the one I used) are out of a super-duty. I think the f150 consoles (and maybe the later S/D consoles had rear holders. check out the thread taht was posted by fordpride. That guy used a F150 console and even wired in the auto shifter.
I have pictures of my console on my other computer...those pictures aren't mine but from the thread I posted.

thanks man.. yeah any pics you got would be awsome!! iam goin to do some measerin now... found 2 consoles a few in in lenght and width and hight are diff.. also found a console like my bros 2013 has , i no its an auto but iam thinkin bout tryin to do a blow threw console and add some heat an air to the rear.... and have my manual shifter come up threw the console ..i got my bro measherin his now
