Yea it is. Isn't the y pipe welded to the cat though? I don't want them to mess anything up. So, is this probably the best and cheapest route?
It shouldn't cost very much to have the front cat replaced with a little Y pipe. Since your rear cat is a new aftermarket cat, you should be fine doing this.
