I get code 1211 once in a while also but only when I mash on it and let off right away. If I keep the pedal to the floor I never get the code. I think what's happening is the dual pumps ramp up pressure so fast and you let off the throttle right away there's too much oil to dump in that short of time so it sets the code. At least thats the only think i can think of thats happening.

So how come you have to have an ipr in the front pump? The stealth kit is capable of running dual iprs but they give you a plug in case you want to run one. But for some reason the plug needs to go in the back pump but I don't know why. If I ever had to take the pumps apart id rather put the plug and eliminate the front ipr because its impossible to get to like joey said. If not how do i make a remote ipr setup? Can i buy one from you joey? Just to update I am actually running two iprs. I thought I was only running one

Yes you can balance pressure in the heads with dual pumps. Thats how mine are run. I have one line going to each head from each pump so 4 high pressure lines. That way each head sees equal pressure

On my system, the Remote IPR block balances the pressure.

I suppose you could build a block as well, but having only one piece machined would be expensive.

Would you be willing to sell just the ipr block or sell a blueprint? Im a machinist by trade so I have access to machines and metal or would you just recommend taking it apart and rebuilding the front ipr and be done with it? Im having ipr issues I think and I put the plug in the back one and still having issues. Here's my thread if you missed it.I really appreciate any help

Justin, my R-IPR block doesn't fit your system. Your system is much longer.

Just replace the IPR with a new unit. It's too much work to R&R the pumps, to install a used IPR. Some of my early systems are still out there with that same setup. One has over 150k on it with no issues.

Yeah it is alot of work. Im hoping that was the problem. The orings looked fine but that split washer just above it had a small chunk missing. What's that split washer for? I also noticed on the factory ipr harness, the backside wires and insulation going into the ipr plug were a little melted. Could that be causing my issues? Maybe its just a bad ipr...

I'm sure glad you put your theory out there Justin. Now that I think about it, that's when I'm getting 1211. I can go WOT all I want and never get it. When I pull my camper with the cruise on and it gets right after it on a hill and then lets off suddenly cresting the hill my code pops up. Makes sense to me! Still, I don't know what to do about it.

If I let out of mine suddenly after seeing 3100psi ICP, it will spike up to 3500-3600psi before dropping off sometimes. If you let out of it slower, it won't spike like that. I've never seen a CEL from that though..

I never noticed that Travis, next time when it suddenly drops off I'll take a look. Do you have any theories of why it spikes like that? I use my cruise alot but if I'm pulling on a roller coaster type of road I kick off the cruise and use the old fashion foot!

Mine probably does it b/c at WOT in my truck the IPR is closing completely trying to build ICP (HPOP too small) and once I let off the pedal really quick, the IPR doesn't have enough time to open again, so it spikes pressure really quick.

Don't certain tuners program so that that code is delayed? Maybe that might be why some of you see the code and some don't!

Mine will set a code if I lug it down for an extended period. I'd say it takes about 10 seconds of hard lugging to set the code.
