New Sound

I have a 07 6.0. When I let off the gas it makes a new whistling sound. Not a turbo sound more like a vacumm sound.
Any help?

Any codes? Any other symptoms like low power, etc.?

Yes the power seems to be down. Don't have a tuner so I don't know about any codes. Today when i would throttle up from a stop light, it was very sluggish and it sound very muffled. I'm new to psd so bear with me.
Also can you recommend a trusted psd repair shop. I'm in Mesquite (Dallas)

You need to get a hold to the member named Cheezit. He is a tech in the Dallas area, and the only one I would let touch my truck, if I were going to take it to a dealer!

Also, this truck has a Bully Dog triple pup tuner. It's set on performance 1.
Keep it ot junk it?

deffently junk it!!! They are known to cause problems with the 6.0. If you want to stay the tuned route you need to go with a custom tuner. I would recomend getting a SCT with custom tunes from either Eric at innovative diesel, or Matt at gearhead automotive.

better lose the tuner and reset the computer before taking it in to the dealer if your under 100k miles but don't tell cheezit I told u that

Actually, Cheezit has said in the past, if you bring him your truck, and are honist about what mods you have had. He would pretty much turn is head, as long as the problem at hand isn't directly related to the said mod.

I can see that cause it would keep him from chasing down a problem, and then finding out after all the time spent diag, that it was some mod.
