I have a 2001 F-350 7.3, the truck is running rough and this started after the last fill up and its very cold here right now. I pulled the codes and I came up with:
P0603- Internal Control Module Kam error
P1316-Injector circuit/ IDM codes detected
What do these mean, and how do I go about resolving the issues? please be easy on me im a little new to diesel land lol.
yes I do believe fuels the issue but i want to know why im getting these codes also. I buy my fuel at a small shop with above ground tanks and have had 0 issues yet but i fueled on thurday afternoon and a friend of mine said he couldnt fuel there thursday night because they were empty so I got the botom of the tank. Im hoping thats the issue, going to pop a new filtr in her tommorow and top of the tank with fresh fuel and more conditioner. These temps probably arent helping either right now its -36.
how do i check the harness?? do i just check the plugs outside the valve covers or is there a connection on the inside that i would need to pull the valve covers off to check??

Reason: more info and easier reading
Or at least the first part of it. It has pictures and the testing procedure. Toward the end there's a video on youtube you can watch if you make it that far.
