P0171 Code
I have an 02 Explorer V6. My CEL came on with the code of P0171 bank 1. I have searched this forum but all I could find is when you get P0171 and P0174 which i don't have. I am trying to find the pvc elbow that everyone is talking about but have not located it yet. Is it a vacum leak, O2 sensor or MAF. I looked at my MAF and it looks clean. I disconnected the battery to reset everything and it was running fine. Then at around mile 50 the CEL came back on and it started to run rough. Any suggestions? Need pictures as well if possible.

Do what everyone else does, track down the vacuum leak. Misfires can also trigger a lean code. And no, it is not an O2 sensor, though once you get this issue resolved, you should replace the O2 sensors if they have over 80,000 miles on them.
