was jsut wondering if there is anything else that i should do with selling the old truck. got it on the classifieids here and was just wondering if there were any other ideas.... figured its time unfortunately. thanks Casey
Oh wow...I was wondering what happened? did you find another interest?
You should post some pictures on the for sale area here! I got a lump in my helmet strap!
Have you tried Craigslist ? That, along with eBay are the top two places to try. Also going through the local paper is another good venue but it'll cost and paper media has died out quite a bit so you might not get the bang for your buck.
Well life happened actually not for the bad... Our son was born rut came early by 3 months and had quiet a few severe issues but pulled thru.. wife ended up with a some severe health issues from the premature birth. so but all are doing better with an occassional sickness with the boy but he is a trooper. unfortunately just dont have time for the old truck anymore and would rather see it finished and enjoyed then just sitting. find nother when the boy is older hehehehehe.... not looking at getting rich just make a fair sale. ill try to get some more pics up to lot done to her.
Actually i have tried both craiges list and ebay that was a joke got a bunch of fraudulant offers and even an counterfit check from a guy that was fun so not much faith in them.
So how much is a fair price for you? I will keep my ears open for potential buyers!
I am sorry to hear of the health difficulties you son and wife have been through.
My truck would have to go for the same reasons..Good Luck and our prayers are with you.
If it's not a financial problem please reconsider selling the truck. Once the truck is gone it's going to be hard to find another, "They aren't making them any more". Also, things come up and you'll just keep putting off finding another. You're already ahead with just having the truck.
If you can I would strongly suggest, if it's not a financial burden and you have a nice dry place to store it, fog the engine with oil, block up the axles so the tires aren't resting on the ground, cover it and let it sit. The truck doesn't have any feelings, it won't care if it sits for the next five years. In a few years when the boy gets to be a strapping little boy take him out to the truck, pull off the cover and watch his eyes. I guarantee it can become a bonding tool between you and him. It can be both yours and his truck.
When I was restoring a 1972 pickup I started before I got married then bought a house then my son was born, when I finally finished the truck it was 14 years later & 35 years after I still have it. Dont sell if you don't have to.
I sincerely hope that all goes well with your family Casey, after losing my wife a year and a half ago I`m very familiar with health issues.
