Happens all the time. Plug it up for the night and see if she starts in the morning.

You might want to go check it after an hour or so. just look the cord over good and make sure all looks good as far as smoke or hot spots. It should be fine, but having never used it, it would pay to check on it.

Glad you found it, happens alot as Barry said, I bet this week I've helped 5 people find them on their trucks, not on the internet either, just around my area. Good luck, I hope it works for you, if it does, it sounds like you might have to look into the injectors, or get access to a scanner or AE in order to find out the cause.

Well, most of use change the batteries in pairs. Usually if you have one bad battery, the other is nearly as bad. If one is weak, it will pull down the other and cut the life of it down.

I thought about that but this one is only about 8 months old it should be ok. Or so I think. I have been known to be wrong at least once before.

Hopefully, you can always have it load tested to be sure. Did you ever check the voltage while you attempted cranking?

Hold it on your older battery. black lead on the - and red on the +. Be sure meter is set to 20volt DC. Have her crank while you watch the meter. Shouldn't drop below 11volts. 10.5 is the miminum.

Ok did that it dropped to 10.67 at its lowest it almost started my new battery is 1000 cranking amps and the old one is 850 and my charger said the old one was at 97 percent when I started cranking I wonder if I should go get another battery with 1000 amps or not?

10.67 would be just about the bare minimum. Yeah, I think a new battery might be a good idea. If it's that new, it should be warr.
