2002 transfercase not fully diengaging

I recently removed the front driveshaft to do somework on it and when I was tightening all the bolts I heard something snap from around the transfer case. I checked all the bolts they are tight. The problem I have is now it seems like the transfer case is not fully disengaging when taking out of 4wd drive, and I have a noticable noise from the transfer case area. If I reverse about 10-15 and go forward it seems fine and the noise goes away.

Is there any plastic pieces that I may have snapped or maybe something with the vacuum pump on the transfer case?

The truck has a Superlift lift kit with driveshaft recommend by them.

Well as far as that noise you hear when you go out of 4x4 is normal for automatic hubs and when u go in reverse it gos away also normal, If you do any kind of wheelen id convert them to manual like i did, because iv broken a pair of those hubs and once i went to manual everything was solid and no more having to back up to get them to disengage
