Exclamation transfer case humming noise

i have a 93 mazda navajo 4x4 5spd.(re-badged ford explorer). i get a loud humming noise while driving, sounded like a bad wheel bearing but i tracked the noise to the transfer case. sounds like bearing noise in the case. when i move the driveshaft there is slack when i move it back and forth and always clunks when i hit the throttle just right or when letting off the clutch a bit too fast. is there any chance that it has damaged the transmission from being drove like this ? can i get a transfer case rebuild kit or should i just get another transfer case. Is the transfer case a warner 1354 ? thanks

Sounds like it may be just your u-joints. Check them right away. There should be a tag on the case that has the model number on it for the tansfer case.
