re-build carb?
hey,
my carb on my 79 f-100 302 is messed up bad, it pops on acceleration until the engine is really warm. does this osund like something with ym adjustments? i dont really know how to adjust a carb besides the idle. also, how long/hard is it ro rebuild this carb? its the stock 2bbl. thanks.

re-build carb?
my only GUESS would be possible need for adjustment to choke,cuzz i dont go there .But does it do it with all outside temps,hot cold cool?If it runs good after warmup i would think its cuz the engine is warm enough and the choke kicks off?ive seen people get a manual choke cable to operate inside the truck,wonder if that would be an option for you.Sorry i wasnt much help.
