6.9 Rebuild
So the Motor that is in my Garage as I have come to find out, is a 6.9l and not a 7.3. And the crank is not siezed. I talked with the previous owner and it came off a 1987 F-350 Single Cab Long Box. So what can i do to get this engine running in tip top shape. The motor, (you guys will love this) has from what the PO said, over 500,000 miles on it (28k per year). Idk how....but it does....he bought the vehicle in 1987 new, drove it til it was just a tired engine in 2005. and he pulled the engine and threw a new one in.

So far I have rings for all eight pistons, head gaskets, lifters, valves, main and rod bearings, and planning on a magnaflux and honing of the cylinders. Anything else you guys can think of?
