Just received mine today....Looks easy to install,,except,,,where to mount the comp and receiver ??? Doesn't seem to be any room in eng compartment for these...Where did you mount them ? Pics would be cool if you have them..

my input ,, drop your spare and put it up in that area the power is close because of the trailer wiring // put the spare back and it protects the compressor
Ah I didn't know it had to stay dry
I don't have the rancho
But I do have an airbag wireless setup and mounted the compressor above the spare
mine didn't warn about staying dry
B. The receiver and air compressor can be mounted in other
locations besides the engine compartment. Choose a high and dry
location that best fits your application. If extra wire is needed,
splice 14awg only. The compressor can also be mounted in any
position but should be located near the receiver.
it actually looks the same as my air lift compressor
When they state High and dry I think they are trying to avoid it being submersed I just read an install article and the Magazine mounted it behind the front bumper on a jeep
