I am replacing the fuel injectors on my 89 Bronco with a 351 Winsor eng.
and the inj. they sold me look different than the ones I removed! (bought on
the internet) New ones are much thinner and have 4 holes at the bottom
instead of the 1 hole I have now... old # E5TE B1B new # F6VE A5A
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Injectors are color-coded. Is the plastic upper half of the new ones the same color as the old? As injector technology improves, it is often rolled into aftermarket units and as long as the injector can deliver fuel at the rate required by the engine, physical appearance shouldn't matter. Now if they just don't physically FIT, then you have a problem.
