Just going over ideas and thought of this does a 71 crew cab 4x4 short bed use the same frame as a long bed f250 4x4? If not what's the difference between them in lengths? Thinking of instead of swapping all the goodies off of 79 f250 4x4 why not just set my body on the 79 frame.

Those are the wheelbase numbers arnt they?? I think what he needs is weather or not he can cut the rivets mounting the rear supention hangers and move them to the short wheelbase locations??
What I am asking is there any 78-79 4x4 f250's that have the same wheel base as my 71 crew cab 4x4? I ask this because instead of swapping the power steering, front disc brake axle, 460 engine, and the power brake setup off of a 78-79 donor truck and sticking it on my 71 crew cab can I find any 78-79's with the same wheel base as my crew and just put my body on the later frame? Sorry for any confusion
Thanks for the frame measurements I'm guessing the supercab with longbed frame would be to short if I converted my short bed crew into a longbed? Making the rear tires sit to far forward in wheel wells am I correct? Or would they be centered in the wells? I forget how much longer the front half of the longbed is compared to the shortbed
