Also called Sterling 10.5" I can't remember what the DRW axles are, I want to say D80.

To add to what Ken said...
I believe the SRW trucks have what's commonly referred to as a Sterling 10.5" while the DRW trucks have a Dana axle.

Here is some interesting reading...(explains what 10.5" really means...)

Also if its a 4x4, a srw will most likely have 3.73 gears, most drw trucks have 4.10 from factory, although a few had 3.73. If it is an 02 srw it will have the 10.5 sterling and not the 10.25, drw will be the d80.

Dana 80 has a 10 bolt cover, Sterling has 12.

If you are looking at buying a ring and pinion, order the ones for the 10.25 sterling and an install kit for a 10.25, they will drop right in no problem and the 10.25 parts are cheaper than the 10.5 parts.

Speaking of rear ends; how hard is it to rebuild the "limited" slip in these things?
