I have 79 Ford F-150 With a 400. I want install a block heater. Can someone tell wher the freeze plugs are located?

On either side of the block between the spark plugs and the oil pan.

I've got a 77 with a 351M and wanted an engine heater as well. However I didnt like the idea of trying to take a freeze plug out of a block that old. I came across a heater that sits inline with your lower radiator hose and heats the coolant there. I bought one and found it very easy to install and really like it. Just another option for you to look into. They're made by a company called kats. They sell em on amazon.
