is there a way to find the ford part number for a specific computer? i need to find out the number i need for my truck project as it doesnt have a computer bow in it now

It's stamped right on the computer.

as i ststed, i do not have one so i cantg look at where it is stamped in the side, how do i find out what # i need?

Well if it was me, I would go and see a "good" Partsman. Tell him what the engine was out of and what you were putting it in and he should be able to tell you what computer you need.

Sorry,
The computer's are vehicle sensitive.
You need the computer from the exact same vehicle.
Engine,Fuel Delivery,Rearend,Transmission,Weight,Tire Size,A/C or not,etc

just post the calibration # and i should be able to supply you with pcm part # and engineering # along with a list of other part numbers. also the VIN number may be required if older than 10 years.
