I have a 2002 F150, 5.4 with towing package. I bought this pu new. I have all the hp I need when pulling my 27 foot TT. Would be nice to get better mpg. Has anyone tried the Hyperteck Power Programmer. If so, does it help. Thanks

 

You posted this in the wrong section. It should have gone to the 97-03 section. But to answer your question, probably not much. That combo was extremely thirsty and underpowered for some reason. It should help driveability, though.

I used the Diablosport Predator when I had my 01 5.4L 4x4. Noticeable improvement and the transmission shifted much better.

 

I have a programmer that I used for a little while but eventually put my truck back to stock tune. If you are interested in it let me know.

Do not expect any MPG gains. Even if you get lucky, it'll be less than 2 MPG.
