airbag code 52

After the local Ford dealer's mechanics disabled and removed my alarm system, I opened the door of my 1998 Expedition and heard a crackling electrical noise coming from the area where the alarm system wires had been until removed. When I tried to start the truck I could not, as it seemed the battery was nearly dead. I jumps started the vehicle successfully. But I now see that the air bag warning lamp in the instrument panel flashes the 52 code. What should I do? (I can now start the vehicle and the battery seems to be holding a charge once again.)

Code 52 is a low battery voltage warning. Since the mechanic caused the problem when he removed the alarm, I'd bring it back and have them clear the code.
