Well guys i think i figured it out my lil piece of rubber hose that connects the fuel line to the pump had a nice cut in it im gonna be hittin up auto zone in the morning for a replacement and the hopes that it is the key to my 30min job turned 72 hr job

A cut or split in the fuel line sure would be a dandy place to suck air. Seems like it should be leaking a bit of fuel out the cut.
Do you still have the original water separator hooked up? It's a common problem for the water separator to loose it's seal and suck air.
On the injection pump the fuel shut off should have an audible click when you turn the key on and off.
Yeah there was fuel spillage but i never saw it until i had my wife crank the truck while i crawled under it to look and got a face full of diesel...i doubt anyone did cause im the only one that drives and me n my wife have a rule u dont mess with the others vehicles unless asked or extenuating circumstance...and i have a sticky note saying the rear tank is empty
I havnt seen a water seperator hooked up. I havnt been looking real hard for it though either...i really appreciate the ideas from yall i was at a loss the first day and being ignorant about these motors didnt help my cause at all thanks guys ill keep yall posted on if this was my problem
