302 to 351 conversion

I'm about to start a 351 conversion on my 95 f150 4x4. The junkyard is pulling the engine for me Monday. Being a junkyard motor, even though its coming from a truck that says it is a running engine I'm leaning towards a rebuild, and if I go that deep into the motor I don't want a stock engine when I am finished. That being said I also don't want to go crazy either. Cost is a factor. Leaning towards a 2000 to 2500 dollar limit on a rebuild. What parts would people suggest?

Some other questions.

The 351w does not appear to have a MAF system. Can I swap the MAF system over from the 302? What all would be involved with this?

As far as the swap I know the accessories will transfer over, and I need a 28oz flex plate. Would this be the flex plate with the 351w? And am I missing anything else just for the swap?

I appreciate any and all help from you guys. Thanks in advance

you may want to try over in the engine section because chances are you make get some responses quicker. I know a member with the name Conanski seems to be very switched on and helped me a few times with engine questions.
