I have a 1979 f250 I just recently purchased. I need to know if it needs an air pump (there isnt one on the truck) for emmisions to get the sticker. If so, anyone know where i can find a picture of where it hangs on the motor and a parts list.
Also, I was wondering what my other truck would be worth for selling. It is a 1979 f100 2wd. It never was miodified or anything. It runs but is not inspected either (air pump thing again).
I am in Dauphin County PA and need emmissions. At least a visual test. I was told that if the truck came out with an air pump it needs to still be there...even if its just hanging there doing nothing.

That's a stupid requirement ... I'd show up with an air pump held with bailing wire to the bracket just to illustrate how pointless it is. No wonder there's no common sense in govt.
First find out if it even came with one. Not sure how to find out but I am sure someone here can help. My 78 F150 did not come with cats or a air pump.
I think I found out that it did come out with both a cat and an air pump. Can anyone show me a picture of the air pump on a 351m? Please please please and thank you very much. I want to get this truck inspected and on the road ASAP.
