Ha! Those are used bolts, which still begs the question, are bedbolts TTY? Doesn't anybody know? (Good price though - its like getting oats more cheaply after they've been through the horse....)
I wouldn't think twice about buying them even if some clown determined they needed to classify them TTY
body lift come with grade 5 and I have yet to see a truck bed or cab fall off lol
plus look how flimsy the clips the bolts thread into are ,, ??
As I have said B4. The nut plates don't come threaded at the factory the bolts are jammed in there to cut threads into the very hard plates..All this is done with an airtool I'm sure. Pretty hard to torque a bolt when its cutting threads..Use grade 5 bolts tighten them and never worry again. This isn't an area of big concern you are just holding a bed to a truck. I know it flexes so what.We are not talking head bolts.
Its not a big deal. My 98 build SD came with 6 bolts. Now they have 8.
By the way the ford book says tighten to 47 LB FT No mention of anything else..Thats for my 99....05 the same.
start them by hand until they are threaded, not really all that hard. Then use the air tool. When I did it they actually wouldn't thread through when I tried to start it with the impact.
...And use anti-seize compound on the bolts, so you have a prayer of getting them off again in the future (and to prevent galling when you install them).
