Truck dead again.

Well I got a call this morning that the 7.3 died. He turned it off went into work and when he came back out it would not start. Cranks like a mad man but won't start. It has a black CPS in it. What was that fuse that could blow and not cause the truck to start. What about the fuel bowl heater? Any suggestions welcome I know the 7.3 well but I am drawing a blank right now on other stuff to check.

#30 and/or #24 I believe. Have you already swapped in a spare CPS to rule the CPS out?

No not yet. The truck is stuck in a high security government area and I have to get a temporary badge to even play around with the truck.

CPS change out is what I would do first before doing anything else except checking the oil and fuses.

Change #30 fuse if its blown and unplug the fuel bowl heater... If it is not blown the I would say CPS is next best bet... It is easier to check a fuse then change CPS.
