I would like to replace the wheels that are on my '90 F150 4x4. I plan on refinishing the original wheels someday, but in the meantime I'll just replace them. I am assuming that these would fit but does anyone recognize them?
These are the original wheels. I plan on either painting them white/blue to match the body color or polishing them to match the trim.
Those wheels came on some of the 92-96 f150s. I don't know if they were specific to any type of trim level or not. They will bolt up though so go for it.
I always called them trailer rims, cause that's where they belong....
Meh, not even there - everyone knows that real trailers have 8-lug axles (and a least 6 wheels) lol, jk
But I think that if GBuckert gets some XLT wheels he should just polish them and run them shiny, or if he wants painted wheels the go for the non-chrome XL wheels - either will look great on that truck of his.
They look like the factory wheels that were on '87-'91 F-150's. Originally they were painted argent and had trim rings and the Ford bolt on center caps
You can get those in white for about 40/piece or chrome for 50/piece from summit. They're made by US Wheel. I know theres other manufacturers that make them as well. They're commonly called wagon wheels. Ford used them on their trucks for a while...looks like you have an OEM ford set.
