Managed to track down new shift linkages for the truck, except I ended up breaking the clips that hold them on when I was switching the linkages out.
I've done some searching and found them for $2/ea, but they want $10 to ship. I've also seen a few different part numbers for them. Anyone have any leads on cheaper/the right part #?
I would try a standard "E" Clip; work well on several different type linkage's for me in the past!
I can't tell exactly form your pic; but could you place that clip in a vise and flatten it back out straight? I guess that one tip is borken off though.
@CustomCab: Yep, one of the little teeth is busted. Fragile little suckers. My local hardware store had E clips and I found some that look like they'll fit so I'll give that a try first.
@ND: Thanks for the right part #. Haven is only about 90 minutes away so I may have to make a trip if these E clips don't work.
Now if only I can get the wife to give me a few hours down at the shop today, too much housework to do.
