After the last truck being stolen, 6 days after I bought it, my brand new truck, that I depend on for work, is being towed to the dealer for a major transmission leak.
A certain small percentage of vehicles manufactured have defects coming off of the assembly line. It appears yours was one. This is why you have a warranty.
The transmissions in the 2011 trucks are not known for leaking.

That's what I thought. I tried searching but found nothing. Hope its a quick fix
Hope that they get it resolved quickly... Like Redford says - haven't heard of many leak problems... I got 12K on mine & not a drop yet - (Knocking on wood)

When it was on the flatbed last night (props to fords free roadside assistance with my warranty-here within 25 minutes), I looked under it, and it only looked to be leaking from the transmission pan. So, hopefully its an easy fix, as I need the truck tonight. =[
Yes, I wouldn't worry about it. They will get it fixed up. I bought my last truck, an 05 F150 FX4 brand new, and 4 days later with 400 miles on it the brake master cylinder blew out at a stop light. Luckily I didn't hit anyone. Dealer fixed it and I never had a problem with it after that. Had it for 5yrs and put 75k on it. Good luck.
The dealer called me today to tell me there was a mechanical failure of a line harness in the transmission. The part is special order only, and the dealer placed emergency status on it from Ford.
I asked when I would have my truck back...and they said, "We have no idea."

Awesome.
That's the problem with brand new trucks and running into an unknown issue. They don't stock some parts if they don't have a certain number of issues/requests/needs/fixes/etc. in like a 3 month span. Emergency status will get it there quicker than anything else.
I have a loaner, a 2010 F150 4x4. Unfortunately it doesn't have a plow on it, and thats the nature of my business.
But got a call from the dealer and said they are working on a temporary fix to get me my truck back TODAY, and then when the part comes in, to fix it right then.
I had a similar issue happen to me. My shift cable actually froze up on my 05 F350 got some ice in it when I was snow plowing. Part was not in stock and they said it would be a few days before they had the part. Not good when it had snowed a foot and they were predicting another 6". The tech made a different cable work me for for the time being. I had NO choice to have the truck down. We often hear about the bad dealers out there and seldom here of the good ones...
