Then I would say $350 is too much for a core that you have to overhaul. Now, if access to the entire truck for other parts that are needed is included, then I would say it's OK.
For comparison, I am repowering my truck right now from 300 Six to 460 and I bought an entire 1990 F250 with less than 90K original miles on it for $800 and the seller even delivered it to my house. I get all the parts I need plus I don't have to overhaul it. All it needs is a new oil pan gasket and in it goes.
