Cut outs

once i get my 466 into my truck i will have L&L headers on it and i was wanting to run electric cut-outs right after the headers and then run a true dual exhaust with Magnaflow Magnapacks. Will this damage my engine? i wont run it open headers for a long time just every once in a while to show off

I wouldnt run open headers indefinitely but it should be okay for a while. A little back pressure is a good thing. Haha it'll definitely wake the neighbors!

thats what i wanted to hear, the Magnapacks should have a good rumble but when i need to show up some ricers i can do it in the flip of a switch. This truck is going to be quite the sleeper, the 466 should be putting out gobs of torque with the cam and everything else. Ive been meaning to start a build thread with all the pictures i have but i just havent gotten around to it. Thanks guys
