My FICM read out was the same as yours. I'm currently waiting on a reman FICM.
According to the reman company the entire guts of this module is new and thoroughly tested. Comes with a 1 yr warranty and a local tech I know recommends them as he installed about 8 in his fleet of 30 trucks....
It should get here today or tomorrow so I can let you know how well it looks.

I have yet to see a "reman" that uses "all new" parts that have parts that meet all OEM specs!
But, don't argue with success... if it works.. lets see.
Our local Ford dealer will sell me one for $595, but he's not sure if it is programmed. If its not programmed, do I have to tow the truck into the dealer for them to flash it? Or will it start and I can drive it to the dealer for flashing?
There is a site that sells Alliant Power reman units that are programmed for abot $475. I know Alliant Power is a reputable company.
I read where one of the reman companies stated that Ford wasn't addressing the parts that were failing, simply replacing them with same spec parts. It's posted on another forum.

Thanks for all the help!!
I still think Swamps is a better alternative and very competitive pricewise.

We will have to agree to disagree with Swamps.
Swamps continue to sell a "hot" FICM mod (58V) that I believe is highly likely to cause serious and costly failures down the road.
They provide no actual facts, details on what parts they are using to "reman", and under such circumstances, I see no factual reason to believe that their replacement parts meet the old part's minimum specs, let along being any better.
Since the risks being run down the road are sizable, I am staying away from all their stuff.
I will stick with known good Ford remans or known good FICMs from the factory.
My FICM just came in and it looks Fantastic so far. sealed unit with a warranty stamp on the back... It really looks like a top of the line piece of equipment... They seem to have put some kind of coating on it as well.
I'm gonna go install it and see if my truck will start now.
Please report back on the performance of these units.
I am especially interested in how it works out 90 days out, and 2 or 3 years out.
As of right now it started up better than ever... Fast even...
I barely had to touch the key and its about 11* outside. I did have the batteries charging and the block heater going as well.
I just took it for a quick test drive and it didn't seem right. I will continue this on my other thread, FICM woes.
I received and installed my FICM this afternoon. SWEET SUCCESS!!! I knew as soon as I turned the key on that it was repaired. I posted a few months ago that I had lost the 'arcing' sound when I first turned the key on and was waiting for the glow plug light. That 'arcing' sound was the injector buzz and I heard it loud and strong when I first turned on the key tonight. It fired right up with no missing or sputtering even though the temperature was well below freezing all day.
Thanks for all of the help from you guys, this site is the best!
