So I have 79 f100 2wd swb, I will be installing a 514 next month and was curious if yall ran some sort of ladder bar or traction bars and if so what brands and pics would be really appriciated thank you
I've made my last few sets. I built a set of honest to God old school ladder bars for an F350 4x4 with shackles at the front to a 4 link setup in my '70 F100 with a 514. If you're just looking for a set of slapper bars the fabrication is pretty easy. All kinds of bolt on stuff from Summit or Jegs too.
No mods ... I had to get longer bolts if i remember rite ... havent drove it much since intall ... they angle up a bit more than i had hope - which is just a looks/apperance thing tho....
