and I plan on having the psd turbo on there witand I'm surehin the year. Gotta finish my new camaro first. And I'm sure the mpg gain would drop with the 46's anyways
ya, took a camaro to fresno, not too bad. Gotta put on 2 more bolts for the laddr bar and put on my mud flaps and I'll be ready to hook the 2 car trailer up and take her for a haul
Oreo, I see you're tossing a '99.5-'03 PSD turbo setup in your truck... FWIW, those years have a different compressor wheel than the earlier units allowing it to spool up faster. Your RPMs are low in OD. You may experience turbo flutter with that turbo. A backwards fix is the Wicked Wheel (old style compressor wheel) which slows down spool up creating turbo lag - this is hit or miss. A for sure fix is a superior housing like the ATS ported one which will render you fast spools.
whats overdrive? hahaha.... im still 1500 in od going 60. i dont plan on using it much, if ever. and it being a idi, any boost is good boost. if i get 8psi then i will be 4-6 more then i was getting before with the ats so i will be happy.

With a higher flowing intake and exhaust, the flutter/surge is worse. Mine started when I installed a 6637 intake filter and when pulling grade.
