I don't think so. I've never seen anything about someone doing it. The part is "cheap" enough and prone to sudden failure most buy a spare and swap them. If it fixes the issue, toss the old one and if not, put it in the glove box for when you do need it.
Why do you want to test it? What is the truck doing? Do you know which "one" it is- grey, black, blue?
