[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-16-03 AT 04:32 PM (EST)]I've been reading here and on the diesel forum about the cold air dilemma, you know, which intake system offers the coolest air with the least amount of air flow restriction.
Here is my question. I found a company that makes a snorkel for the super duty, and I want to know if anyone thinks that this would be a good way to get cool air into the engine with out killing performance. I think it would a least look unique.
Anyone have pics of a truck or their own with a snorkel. I'm interested in any feedback all of you will have, so fire away!!!
The greater the distance the air has to travel through the induction system, the greater the restriction, the POORER the performance. Unless you're like redranger1 (Nathan) and plan on driving through water deep enough that'll you'll need it , I don't think it would be in any way beneficial.
