Over Drive Default Off?

Over Drive Default Off?
Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to set the default condition of my OD Automatic Transmission to have the OD off when I start the truck. In the hilly terrain where I live, the OD is rarely useful. Even on the Interstate at 80mph, being in OD results in the truck down shifting two gears to maintain 80 on the inclines. This occurs using the cruise control or not. I would love to have the OD system turned off unless I call for it, rather than having to turn it off with the push button on the shift lever every time I use the truck.
Anyone have any ideas?
