Got some new overcab lights from pacer for xmas. I know that there is a connector in the RH kickpanel that has power for these lights but I was wondering if anyone knew which wire it was. If noone knows I will test and post the results but I thought I might be able to save a couple minutes of testing if someone already new. I have motorhead's website for the light install but he used the factory ford harness.
Hey I"m looking into getting some pacer cab lights and was hoping you can answer a question I have. Is the bottom of the lights flat? I know they are slightly curved but what I'm asking is if there are any studs molded into the light housing (like the ones they sell at napa) or is there a plastic wire harness connector hanging down (like on the oem ford lights). Reason I'm asking is because I have already installed recon led cab lights a couple years ago and they are now leaking so I'd like to replace them with pacer units but don't want to have to drill and paint any more holes in my roof.
On my truck (OBS) I found the plug for cab lights behind the passenger side plastic kick panel thing beneath the A-pillar. It was a brown plastic 2 contact connector and I'm not sure what the colors the wires were. Its pretty easy to find though as it was one of the few things not connected to anything .Good luck on the install!

The bottom of the lights are flat. They have a foam seal that is used between the cab and the light and I didn't see anything that stuck out past that. I would think that they would be a really easy install and could cover up your recon light holes that you can't use with them. I will try and take some pics of them tonight and post them later.
Thanks for the info, sounds like they will work just fine for me. If you get a chance to put up some pics it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
I have Recons and I ran a true ground wire and tied all the hots together. The hot wire is tied into the running lights on the drivers side.Eventhough they do have the foam seal I used a little clear rtv as well.
