Head lights
My 97 f350's headlight lenses in it are fine, no cloudiness and scratches aren't bad, but the Bach housing that the bulb screws into are busted up for them. So I have a used set where the lenses are cloudier but the backs fine. I was wondering if anyone knew how to take lenses apart from the housing without breaking anything? They look like they are stuck together with some kind of plastic adhesive.

Use your stock headlight adjusters jeremy2008, the aftermarket ones are junk!
STIHL021 you can loosen the adhesive using a heat gun or by putting the headlight assembly in the oven... can't recall what temp is required but I know it's been done. Then of course you'll need some new adhesive to glue things back together again.

I tried that headlight restore stuff to get rid of the frosted look.
And I used a clean soft cloth with a couple dabs of Crest tooth paste.
The Crest did more in two minutes working on both headlights than the headlight restore kit did in half an hour working on one light.
The restore kit I tried was from Turtle Wax.

If your lenses are real bad try 2000 grit wet-sand paper (dip a piece in a bucket of water then sand the head light maybe try a small section in the corner just to see if it works to your liking the haze will be removed by the polish) on the lense to get the heavy dullness out then polish with a good metal polish I use Flitz Metal polish but maybe the toothpaste will work as well I had never heard of that idea.
