the worst thing that could happen did , i lost my job , was no longer needed , have a girlfriend expecting my first child in the monthes truck still in the garage , had to hand over the keys to my dad since he can pay the payment , can it get any worse ????
First I have found, never think it can't get any worse, Murphy's law has a way of showing you it can.
I agree, with a kid in the oven, a job, any job should be priority number one.
And with a kid on the way, it seems like the worst possible thing has happened, but I bet not to far from where you are there a people in much worse shape than you are if you know where to look.
Good and bad are very relative terms.
Good compared to what?
Bad compared to what?
What you consider bad may very well be a great day for someone else.
HONESTLY! McDonalds pays well i have herd. Starting pays is around 10. Work the night shift....

I like that idea but I will take it one further. Active duty. (Army is the funnest). The military will take care of you and your whole family: housing, food (allowance), health-dental-Rx (FREE), you will learn new skills (and have fun doing it), travel (family included except deployments, the country will thank you and when you get out (w/Honorable discharge) you will be more appealing to employers. Just a thought.
Where are you from? What do you do? How old are you?
I agree with the active duty military option as well. I'm just coming off of 4 years active duty and they do take care of you and your family. Don't have to be worried about being laid off, health care, etc...
It's a good option, especially with this economy. But it isn't for everyone...

Army is "fun", to a point, but there are many things to that option a person needs to really check into before getting into it all.. And especially being that you have a little one on the way (I lost out on the birth of my daughter and the first couple years)! Any branch, and commitment in the service is something that should be looked at when you arent feeling desperate!
There are lots of awesome ideas out here! Here is another tip.. Keep positive, no matter what! A positive attitude will be noticed by potential employers, and keep stress down at home! As said before, it could get worse, right now you are clearing a speed bump!
