efi head mods (porting and such)

What is the consensus on efi head mods?

Do they respond well or better than a carb head to porting and larger valves?

What is usually done about the combustion chambers and fast burn properties (shrouding)? Are these kept, or modified to enhance flow?

Is there any benefit to be gained modifying a efi over a carb head?

Has anyone actually done this yet?

If you do go through with it, be sure to have the head magnafluxed first to check for cracks. EFI heads crack a lot more then carb'd heads.
