I have unsuccessfully tried to buy drum brake spring kits two or three times now. I keep getting the same incomplete spring kit and it is missing the two flat springs that fit on the front of the center bar that is part of the emergency brake. None of the parts places I talked to could get it or even ID it. Here is a picture that shows the spring. Where can I buy a couple of these? TIA, Will.
Find a decent parts store. That's usually not included in the brake parts spring kit, but a decent parts guy can find you one. May have to do a bit of comparison, but here's a sampling of what NAPA shows for them:
I know they have them. I bought all new springs for mine when I did the brakes. Rust had taken its toll one them and so I replaced all of them from NAPA.

May want to consider using a sealer. The topic came up some time ago where FTE member posted this link::: CDP Concrete Sealer Not sure what the difference is between a sealer and epoxy paint, I would have to read up, not much of a fan of sealers when it comes to durability.
Another possible option would be the epoxy concrete floor covering kit; understand Lowes and Home Depot sell them.
He and his wife applied the kit in matter of 1/2 day and swears by it. Warranty seems good but then again, they are only as good as long as company remains in business. Also, would want to see what the disclaimers and requirements are for warrantly to remain in effect.
I called three parts stores: two put me on hold until I went away, and the one guy I did talk to said if it's an obsolete part he didn't want anything to do with it because, "all nine inch rear ends are different." So I tried to buy local but tomorrow I'm on the horn to one of the dealers Bill listed to get several C4UZ2A601A springs. I have been running on a fabricated one for months now because mine rusted away like they do in Broomfield lol. I looked more than once at LMC catalogs and if they have them they have hidden them pretty well. Thanks again you guys.

Here's a couple of closer sources to WA that have C4UZ2A601A
I got these from the Ford Dealer parts locator system. It was down for maintenance when I typed post #6.

What-WHat, seems I posted the comment in the wrong thread, opp's, imagine there's a member in the Garage Forum who may find the info more interestesting, apparently experience another senior moment, or affectionately referred to 'old-heimers' Sorry!!

Your comments are always welcome Dave.
I will have to call for the brake springs tomorrow because I got back late today from picking out wood for the bed of my truck. The old beater plywood bed's coming out pretty soon and I will be putting in Ash. I got a great deal on some very nice light colored Ash that will be finished and milled down to size next week. I'm going to buy a stainless bolt kit, maybe stainless strips and several gallons of sealer and do the bed. I will be doing everything myself to save money. That should keep me busy for a while.

I thought that the sealer was being suggested as a rust inhibitor

I can certainly think of a number of uses for 'sealer' but apply to brake components aint one of them; seems to me, if the brakes g0t too hot one could take the term 'smokin tires' literally.
