Ok it looks like you allready have advaned the timing , have headers & msd coil , i asume you have a good set of wires on it & something like autolite cooper plugs , The 93 will be a roller motor , so you could use the HO mustang cam in it , it will work with SD , they cheap and easy to come by , a set of GT -40 heads , or if you want more you could up the cam switch it to MA , aluminum heads so on , this will get expensive fast , so it depends on what you use the truck for and what kind of power your looking for , how heavy is the truck , this will make alot of difference , ...Lew

Listen man, you made this thread asking for tips on more performance out of a 5.0L You have to realize that these guys KNOW what they are talking about. It's not so much that they are hating on your idea....but more so educating you on more than what it may seem. Sure...you can put on the ram air on their, your truck, entirely up to you. This knowledge these guys are giving are worth a million bucks. They have been in the game for a LONG time, where as guys like you and I come on here for ADVICE from them! Listen to what people have to say, and make your own choice. Don't take it so personal. Honestly....I put trust in everything these guys say. They are TRUE enthusiasts. Mind you....they take the time to share their knowledge. Good luck with your project, let us know how it works out.

Breathe deep, start over............Type out a well thought out post about what you want/need, without the indecipherable language and less attitude.............The advise will flow.

Pay special attention to Conanski's posts, he has been around this block a couple of times.

Also, it's important to provide the proper information so that the Seniors can give the right advice.... otherwise...its just a guessing game. I'm new to this as well man, I got a 91 HO in my 90 F-250 that i've been seeking knowlegde on for more power. Sometimes i feel like an idiot with the questions I ask, but it's the only way that i'll learn about my truck... There's plenty of information on this site, you just got to search it. Guys like you and I have to understand that the seniors see threads about the EXACT same things 10 times a week. Anything interesting that i learn and try, be glad to share with you as well.

The cams for the small block fords will interchange , the 351 has the same firing order as the 302 HO & the newer 302s with roller cams , your 93 should be a roller , otherwise you just change the order on the cap , the 302 makes its power in the upper rpm s , if your only looking for low end TQ you can stroke the 302 , put a 351 in it , or just build the 302 , even if you go for a higher rpm can you still will have more low end than stock , the 302 has a lighter rotating mass , and not alot of displacement , so thats why they like to rev , and can make as much power as you want , its just most of the power is going to be in the higher rpm range...Lew

You want a lot of low end torque, correct? A supercharger will get you there. You'll still be limited by the heads, cam, and intake, but for 3-4k you can get what you're looking for without creating an engine that only wants to make power high in the rpm's.

If bottom end power is the most important thing to you, 4.10s or lower, will help your 302.
Otherwise, consider upgrading to a 351w...........a easy swap.
