Progess

I got some more work done on the truck last week and today. Wet sanded the fenders, grille and running boards today and sprayed another coat of hi-build primer. Next we will finish sanding and paint. Will have to wait for another pretty day. We usually have a few nice days this time of year. I don't know how you folks stand it where it really gets cold. It has been in the 50-60 range the last couple days but will get about 25 tonight and 40 tomorrow.I know everybody feels real sorry that I have to put up with it so cold.

I take the winter off and about this time of year I always get a little antsy about working on my truck but 12 degrees this morning says otherwise. Nice work on the truck...

What you need is a heat pump. At -4 degrees you could probably get at least 19 degree heat out of it. Just kidding , I really can't see how you stand those temps. I lived in the South all my life and went to Great Lakes for basic training in June (a long time ago) and almost froze. Thanks for the compliment on the truck. Larry.

The main thing when sandblasting is to have a good compressor that can keep up. A two-stage compressor would be beneficial.

I had a sandblaster like that years ago and the screw neck got some sand in the treads and locked up. It was a real pain in the .... I ended up buying a replacement from I believe TIP and it is much easier to use.
