Do you have one of those LED volt meters that plugs into the cigarette lighter? I would be interested to know if your volts jump around when the GPs are heating up. A properly working relay should be pulling down your volts to the mid 11 range. If your key is on and the volts are above 12v still (or even high 11s) then your relay isn't drawing enough volts.
Doesn't sound like a battery cable issue because your injectors are firing...
Might end up changing out the CPS in the parking lot at work over lunch tomorrow. Guess I best not wear a skirt.

Yeah...I hope that is the case.

I'm going to see if its DP related. I've been removing the switch every night, just for peace of mind. Could've worn something out. Lately it has been changing programs on me all by itself....

No, no cig lighter volt meter..just the old fashioned kind. Battery cables are crap but relatively certain they are not the culprit. Next time it acts up I am going to jump the GPR posts...

That is a HUGE clue right there. Take the chip out for now.

Mines does that as well...Only if I'm I'm my cell phone when I turn the key, or if my phone is close to the chip controller. My new cell phone is not half as bad as my old one was, although they are the same model.
I kid you not.
I'm more inclined to go with the chip or cps. My glow pulgs are dead. All eight. Truck wont start unless I plug it in for the first start of the day. After that, it's fine.
My front crank oil seal leaks. Oil migrates into the plug and renders the cps useless. I keep a can of contact cleaner handy. Pull the plug, clean it, and back on the road again. The seal is getting changed soon, just waiting on a few more parts to arrive. I'd check that cps connection first. Cleaning and re-racking connectors has worked for me in the past.
Update:
As expected, she started acting up today at lunch. Started, for a split second, then shut down.
NOT the chip...I removed it.
NOT the CPS..I changed it with a brand new one.
NOT the GPR..I jumped the posts on the relay.
Oil level is fine.
Plenty of unburned fuel passing into the exhaust..doesn't seem to be a fuel restriction.
Oil pressure gauage dead until I crank on it 3 or so times, then perks up. I can't visually see anything wrong with any of my sensors, wring, etc..but that was a brief 5 minute look-over.
What are the symptoms of an oil pump that's on its way out?

Somewhat, yes..except Peter said his would run for 20 seconds and then shut down. Mine only runs for what seems like a single rotation, a split second, then dies. Also once mine is running, it runs great, no stalling or chugging. Thank you for the link.
I have a spare new IPR I could send if you want to test with it Lisa...
EDIT: OR if you have already.... DOH!!
thanks Joe. If I didn't have one I'd take you up on your offer.
A few years ago, my knight in shining armor (he who shalt not be named) sent me various parts, and true to his nature, he saved my ***, and plenty of dough.
