Quick Dp tuner question

I was wondering if I could just unplug the cable to the switch that i have to select the tunes, and still be able to start the truck up?

Not sure about your F6, but you can't with an F5. Give it a try, it won't hurt anything.

the truck has to go back to the transmission shop from where the starter broke the plate, so right now it will not start so i have no way of testing it out before it gets towed

I doubt it. As MR5x5 said, the F5 you can't do it and I would think it would be the same with the F6.

They are right. You have to remove the chip from the computer. Otherwise...No start.

Do you have your tunes stored on your PC? If you have no start in pos.0 all you have to do is program it with a different tune. Then you can unplug the switch and cable. Just make sure they don't try and take out the chip while they have your truck and fry it.
